Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Specialist to join our team as an independent contractor in Philadelphia. This individual will be responsible for servicing AEDs and Emergency Oxygen at various company sites. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of AEDs and Emergency Oxygen units.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and compliant with safety standards.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns or questions.
- Travel to various company sites in the Philadelphia area to perform scheduled maintenance.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for online training and documentation.
- Ability to carry at least 25 pounds of equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in EMS, fire safety, or a related field.
- Previous experience in equipment maintenance or a technical role.
Training: Comprehensive training will be provided through our online platform. This will include instruction on how to properly maintain and inspect AEDs and Emergency Oxygen units to ensure they meet our stringent safety standards.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications.
